A delegation from the Universitas Budi Luhur, a University in Jakarta, Indonesia visited the University of Kelaniya on the 13^th of September 2023.

The main purpose of this visit was to explore potential collaboration opportunities between Universitas Budi Luhur and the University of Kelaniya.

During the visit, the Indonesian delegation met Senior Professor Nilanthi De Silva, Vice Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya, at the Vice Chancellor’s Office and signed a preliminary agreement on academic cooperation between Universitas Budi Luhur, Indonesia, and the University of Kelaniya.

The Event was attended by Professor Chaminda Abeysinghe, Head of the Department of International Studies, academic staff of the Department of International Studies, and the diplomatic staff of the Embassy of Indonesia, Sri Lanka. The delegation included Mr. Kasih Hanggoro (CEO of Budi Luhur Cakti Foundation), Dr. Wendi Usino (Rector, Universitas Budi Luhur), Mr. AMB. Sunten Z Manurung (Director, Cooperation and Public Relations), Ms. Anggun Puspitasari (International Relations Study Program), and Dr. Zulvia Khalid. The meeting was organized by the Department of International Studies, University of Kelaniya.
