The inauguration ceremony of the Diploma in International Studies offered by the Department of International Studies of the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Kelaniya was held on the 06^th of January 2019 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Social Sciences.

Present at the occasion were Prof. A.H.M.H. Abayarathne, Dean- Faculty of Social Sciences, Senior Lecturer Thumira Jayasena, Head- Department of International Studies, academic staff members of the Department and newly enrolled students.
