Inauguration of Diploma in Counselling: The inauguration ceremony of the 04^th batch of Diploma in Counselling offered by the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Kelaniya was held on the 09^th of February 2019 at Dharmaloka Hall.

The Inauguration was presided over by Prof. A. H. M. H. Abayarathna, Dean- Faculty of Social Sciences as the Chief Guest. Lieutenant Commander, Clinical Psychologist Dr. Kanthi Hettigoda delivered the keynote address of the event. Present at the occasion were Senior Lecturer Dr. K.A.T. Dharaneeta, Head- Department of Philosophy, academic staff members of the Department and newly enrolled students.
