The Inter-Faculty Staff Badminton Championship- 2019 organized

by the Department of Physical Education was held at the Gymnasium of the University of Kelaniya. The staff team of the Faculty of Social Sciences achieved the Championship. The tournament consisted of six staff teams including Faculty of Science, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Commerce and Management, Faculty of Computer and Technology, Faculty of Social Sciences and Department of Physical Education. The Faculty of Medicine was the runner-up of the tournament.

C. Induma- Department of Archaeology, Assistant Lecturer G. M. S. V. Aponsu- Department of Archaeology, Assistant Lecturer Dushyantha Rajapaksha- Department of Sport Science and Physical Education, Temporary Demonstrator M. Lahiru Madhushanka Silva- Research Centre, Temporary Demonstrator Vijitha Kumara- Research Centre were the members of the winning team of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
