‘Kanamadiri Heena’: the very first poetry collection by Charitha Buddhika, a final year undergraduate of Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Kelaniya was launched on 08^th of January 2020 at Tharuwa, University of Kelaniya. Concurrently, an outdoor library was opened. 

Senior Prof. Anura Manathunga, Director- Centre of Heritage Studies and Mahesh Kumara representing Socialist Art Association were present at the occasion and expressed their ideas on the book. Moreover, academic staff members, many young poets, undergraduates, and art lovers graced the event.
