The Certificate Awarding Ceremony of the Staff Development Program conducted for The Temporary Assistant Lecturers and Temporary Demonstrators of the Faculty of Social Sciences and launching 04^th Volume of “Samaja Vimarsana - 2019” Journal was held on 26^th February 2020 at the Boardroom of the Faculty of Social Sciences.

Senior Lecturer Dr. Bandara Wanninayake, Director- Staff Development Unit and Senior Lecturer Dr. Priyanwada Wanigasooriya, Coordinator- Staff Development Program for the Faculty of Social Sciences graced the event.

Certificates were distributed to 39 junior academic staff members who successfully completed the program during the academic year 2017/2018.

The fourth volume of “Samaja Vimarsana” Journal was presented to Dr. Bandara Wanninayake by Ven. Demunnewe Upali Thero, Chief Editor of the journal. The Journal features 20 scholarly articles written by junior academic staff members of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
