Volume 2, part 111 December 2021 of Archaeologia, a Journal of South Asian Archaeology published by the Department of Archaeology, Faculty of Social Sciences was launched on 15th February 2022 under the patronage of Senior Professor Nilanthi de Silva, Vice-chancellor, University of Kelaniya.
The Archaeological Survey of the Giribawa Pabalugala Archaeological Reserve, which is being implemented by the Research Associate of the Commission for Archaeology of Non-European Cultures (KAAK) in Bonn, the Department of Archeology Sri Lanka, the CNRS Laboratory AOROC, and the CNRS Laboratory, TRAJECTOIRES, UMR 8215 in collaboration with Centre for Heritage Studies of the University of Kelaniya, is scheduled to be commenced on 7th of February 2022.
