The workshop on Archaeology, Anthropology, and Tourism for Junior Researchers - 2023 hosted by the Department of Archaeology of the University of Kelaniya was held on the 1st of July 2023 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Kelaniya.
An MoU was signed between the University of Kelaniya and the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) on the 16th of June 2023 at the Vice-Chancellor’s Office of the University of Kelaniya.
The book entitled ‘Vivaraṇa Sahita Vihāra Asna Hevat Nampota’ composed by Mahanuvara Malvatu Mahāvihāravāsī Darśanapati Venerable Hemmathagama Piyadassi Thero and Lecturer Hasitha Chamikara Gunasinghe of the Department of History, University of Kelaniya was launched on the 23rd of May 2023 at the auditorium of the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Kelaniya.
The Department of Archaeology, in collaboration with the Postgraduate Institute of Archaeology at the University of Kelaniya, successfully organized the Inaugural Annual Senake Bandaranayake Symposium on Sri Lankan Archaeology 2023 on May 18, 2023, at the auditorium of the Social Sciences Faculty
