Ms. Thanushi Rodrigo Shines at the 10th GSM All Island Open Ranking Table Tennis Championship 2025

Ms. Thanushi Rodrigo, a fourth-year undergraduate at the Faculty of Science, reading for a BSc Honours Degree in Sports Science, achieved outstanding success at the 10th GSM All Island Open Ranking Table Tennis Championship 2025, held on the 30th and 31st of May and 1st of June at the SRS Sports Complex, Ambalangoda.

A key member of the University of Kelaniya’s Table Tennis Team, Ms. Rodrigo served as the captain of the women’s team for the year 2021/2022. At this prestigious national-level tournament, she emerged as the runner-up in the Women’s Doubles category and reached the semi-finals in the Mixed Doubles category, demonstrating her exceptional skills and determination on the court.

Her dedication to both academic excellence and sporting achievement is truly commendable. University of Kelaniya extends its heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Thanushi Rodrigo and wishes her continued success in all her future academic and sporting endeavours.
