2022 Korean Ambassador’s Cup Taekwondo Championship organized by the Korean Embassy, in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Taekwondo Federation.

It was held from 2^nd to 4^th of August at the National Youth Services Council Indoor Stadium. The awarding ceremony was held on 4^th of August 2022.

Korean Ambassador H.E. Santhush Woonjin JEONG and Hon. Roshan Ranasinghe, the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs and Minister of Irrigation were the Chief Guests of the ceremony. Mr Chaminda Punchihewa, President of the Sri Lanka Taekwondo Federation, Mr. Kanchana Jayarathna, Vice President of SLTF, Dr. Amal Harsha de Silva, Secretary of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, Mr. Ruwan Alahakoon, Secretary of SLTF, Grand Master Kisu Lee, Chairman of the Technical Committee, SLTF and Mr. Jung Haesung Secretary of the Korean Embassy  graced the occasion.

Following undergraduates and staff member of the University of Kelaniya won the places.
