An orientation program to welcome the newly appointed temporary assistant lecturers and demonstrators of the University of Kelaniya was held on the 23^rd of November 2022 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University.

The program was organized by the Staff Development Centre of the University of Kelaniya with the objective of welcoming the newly appointed temporary assistant lecturers and demonstrators and giving them an understanding of their job roles.

Present at the occasion were Prof. M. M. Gunathilake, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Dr. Pavithra Godamunne, Director of the Staff Development Centre, Heads of Departments, and the newly appointed temporary assistant lecturers and demonstrators.
