The Inauguration Ceremony of the Model Early Childhood Development and Daycare Centre established by the Kelaniya University Teacher’s Association (KUTA) and the welfare society of KUTA under the supervision of the Centre for Gender Studies

was held on the 10^th of February 2023 from 9.00 am onwards at the Bulugaha Junction premises of the University of Kelaniya. The Centre aims to provide preschool and daycare facilities for the children of the staff of the University of Kelaniya.

The event was graced by Senior Prof. Nilanthi de Silva, the Vice–Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya as the Chief Guest. Dr. P. N. D.
