The provincial awareness programmes for newly enrolled undergraduates/ guardians for Kegalle, Ratnapura and Galle, Matara, Hambanthota districts was held on the 16^th and 18^th of January 2019 at Sabaragamuwa Province Central Library Theatre and Weligama Municipal Council respectively.

The event was held under the patronage of the Deputy Vice- Chancellor, Senior Prof. Lakshman Senevirathne. Present at the occasion were Senior Lecturer Ven. Dr. Kapugollewe Anandakiththi Thero, Chief Student Counsellor, academic staff members and non- academic staff members.

The programme for Kandy, Matale, Nuwara Eliya, Ampara and Batticaloa districts will be held on the 24^th of January at the Kandy Post Office Auditorium. The programme for Badulla and Monaragala districts will be held on the 25^th of January at the Bandarawela Municipal Council. The programme for Kurunegala and Puttalam districts will be held on the 29^th of January at the Kurunegala Municipal Council. The programme for Anuradhapura, Vavuniya, Kilinochchi, Mannar, Mulathivu, Polonnaruwa, Jaffna and Trincomalee districts will be held on the 30^th of January at Anuradhapura Youth Centre. The programmes for Gampaha, Colombo and Kaluthara districts will be held on the 07^th of February at Maharagama National Youth Services Council.
