The second of the series of ten seminars on research organized by the Research Council, University of Kelaniya was held on the 14^th of February 2019 at the Auditorium of the Staff Development Centre. The event was organized with the objective of promoting research in the University of Kelaniya. The resource persons of the seminar were Prof. Ajith De Alwis, PhD - Director of COSTI, Prof. N P Sunil-Chandra, PhD and the Librarian, C C Jayasundara, PhD.

Present at the occasion were Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Lakshman Senevirathne, Cadre Chair and Senior Prof. N.P. Sunil-Chandra, the Chairman- Research Council, Prof. Ajith De Alwis, Director- COSTI, Dr. C.C. Jayasundara, Librarian of University of Kelaniya, Prof. Prashantha Wijesinghe, Dean - Faculty of Medicine, Senior Lecturer Arjun De Silva, Overall Consultant of Web Revamping Activities, academic & administrative staff members of the university and staff members of the Research Council.
