The Inauguration Ceremony of “Kalana 2019” Performance, Media Art and Literature Awards Ceremony organized for the third time by the Art Council, University of  Kelaniya was held on the 11^th of November 2019 at the Art Gallery of the university.

The art & photography exhibition of “Kalana 2019” was opened as the inauguration ceremony of “Kalana 2019.”

The event was graced by Prof. D. M. Semasinghe, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya as the Chief Guest. Moreover, Senior Prof. Lakshman Senevirathna, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Patrick Rathnayaka, Dean- Faculty of Humanities, Senior Prof. Prof. Ariyarathna Athugala, Chairman, of the Art Council, Senior Lecturer Aruna Lokuliyana, Head- Department of Mass Communication, academic staff members and University students participated in this event.
