Book Launch by the Department of Modern Languages:
The launch of the Departmental Translation Collection of the Department of Modern Languages, University of Kelaniya was held on the 22nd of February 2019 at the Board Room of the Faculty of Humanities.
R.M. Pramod Chandima Rathnayake of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya has won the first place at the Short Video Competition on Epilepsy organized by the Epilepsy Association of Sri Lanka to commemorate the World Epilepsy Day which was held on the 11th of February 2019 at the Epilepsy Unit of the National Hospital, Colombo.
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and four Sri Lankan universities signed projects agreements totaling $145 million under the ADB funded Science and Technology Human Resources Development project to foster science and technology in Sri Lanka’s higher education on the 14th of February 2019 at the ADB Sri Lanka Resident Mission Office in Colombo.
The second session of the enrollment of new undergraduates to the Faculty of Arts, University of Kelaniya was held on the 15th of February 2019 at Dharmaloka Hall of the university.
