Notice
Posted On Saturday, 09 October 2021 19:59

Dear Students and Staff,

For the resumption & continuation of the university activities, it’s vital to assure a healthy & safe environment for the entire university community. Adherence to the COVID 19 related health guidelines & vaccination against COVID 19 are the best practices to prevent the spread of Covid 19. With the instructions of the University Grants Commission, state universities will be conducting vaccination programs for the staff and students below 30 years of age and can be vaccinated at the nearest university vaccination center.

You must produce NIC and university Identity cards at the vaccination center. If you have any chronic diseases or allergic conditions, please get advice from your family doctor or medical officer at the vaccination unit.

All vaccines are effective and are recommended by the World Health Organization. Vaccines prevent transmission and severity of the disease and the
death due to the disease.

Note : If you are coming to the University of Kelaniya for the COVID 19 vaccination,

Please make an appointment using the provided web link in the below table and arrive at the vaccination center 10 minutes before the scheduled time.

Limit your travel within the university premises as much as possible.

Please leave the campus as soon as possible after receiving the vaccine.

“If you protect yourself, you protect others including your loved ones”
