The Democratic Socialist republic of Sri Lanka has received a loan from the World Bank, and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan, to make payment for the Consultancy on Outsourcing of House Hold Survey for a research project under Development Oriented Research grant of the AHEAD operation,  undertaken by the Department of Economics  of the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Kelaniya.  

AMENDMENT NOTICE

It is hereby notified that the 05 th District mentioned as Puttalam in our notice dated
18.01.2021 inviting EOI for Consultancy on Outsourcing of Household Survey, is
hereby amended to read as Nuwaraeliya. Closing date to receive the EOI is also
extended up to 01.02.2021.
All other contents of the notice shall remain the same.

This Consultancy assignment under the AHEAD Operation is funded by the World Bank and administered by the Operation Technical Secretariate of the AHEAD Operation, University of Kelaniya.   

Successful candidate for this consultancy will be required to provide services as outlined in the terms of reference (TOR) approved by the World Bank and the household survey is required to be conducted on 1500 household units in 28 GN divisions from following Districts in Sri Lanka, using the questionnaires to be supplied by the research team.

3. Puttalam
4. Anuradhapura
5. Puttalam
6. Batticaloa

Therefore, Chairman, Regional Procurement Committee (RPC-Minor) of the Operation Technical Secretariat of the AHEAD Operation, University of Kelaniya, hereby invites eligible persons having below qualifications, to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI), for providing this service.  Interested persons must provide information indicating that he or she is qualified to perform this service along with CV, evidence for experience in similar assignments, availability of appropriate skills and Human Resource support etc.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERINCE

• Degree / Equivalent Professional Qualifications / Higher Diploma, with minimum of 03 years of work experience in field survey or similar assignments.
• Fluency in all three languages.
• Ability to travel extensively.
• Professional skills to interact with Research Team, Government authorities, Enumerators, and the General Public

Consultant will be selected in accordance with GOSL Guidelines on selection and employment of consultant – August 2007.
