The Inauguration Ceremony of the Master of Business Studies (MBS) 2nd batch was held semi- virtually on the 2nd of January 2022 at the Studio A1 of the Business Knowledge Centre at the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies. 

Department of Commerce and Financial Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya organized the inauguration ceremony to officially welcome the new learning partners to the MBS degree program and make them aware of the life at UOK. 

Dr. Madurika Nanayakkara, Coordinator of the Master of Business Studies, and a student of the 1st batch of the Master of Business Studies (MBS) delivered the speeches welcoming new students.

The Chief Guest was Dr. Narada Fernando, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, and the Guest of Honor was Senior Professor J.M.D. Ariyarathne, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Further, Dr. M.M.M. Shamil, Head of the Department of Commerce and Financial Management, Mr. Madhuke Bodhinayake, other academic staff members, and the new students of the Master of Business Studies (MBS) participated in this ceremony.
