The Inauguration ceremony of the Master of Business Studies China program was held on the 10th of December in the Senate room of the University of Kelaniya. 

The event was organized by the Department of Commerce and Financial Management of the University to officially welcome the new students of the Master of Business Studies China program.

Senior Professor Nilanthi de Silva, the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Dr. Palitha Kohana, Sri Lanka Ambassador to China, Senior Professor Kapila Senevirathna, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Dr. Narada Fernando, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, Dr. M. M. M. Shamil, Head of the Department of Commerce and Financial Management, Mr. Wang Kejiang, the Executive Vice President of China Asia Economy Development Association, and Dr. Madurika Nanayakkara, coordinator of the program were present at the event. Faculty members, special guests from Sri Lanka and China, and Chinese students joined the event.
