The HRM Students Research Symposium and the Internship Certificate Awarding Ceremony 2022 organized by the Department of Human Resource Management, University of Kelaniya were held on the 25th of February 2023

for the 9^th consecutive time at the Sunil Shantha Memorial Auditorium of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya.

The first session was the Students’ Research Symposium where students shared their research findings while the second session was the Internship Certificate Awarding Ceremony which included an internship experience-sharing session of the students.

Dr. P. N. D. Fernando, Dean – Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies graced the Students’ Research Symposium as the Guest of Honour while Dr. Prabashini Wijewantha of the Department of Human Resource Management delivered the keynote speech. Further, the best students in research received the research excellence award at this event.

The keynote speech of the Internship Certificate Awarding Ceremony was delivered by Ms. Erosha Fernando - Head of Talent and HR Services at INSEE Cement. At this ceremony, all the students were awarded certificates to appreciate their contribution and commitment in completing their research and internship programs. Further, the industry partners were also appreciated by awarding tokens of appreciation for providing internship opportunities for the students.
