Introducing a remotely controlled ceiling fan regulator as a new invention to the market.
A remotely controlled ceiling fan regulator invented by Senior Prof. S.R.D. Kalingamudali, Head, Department of Physical Science and Electronics of the University of Kelaniya together with Mr. Kelum Perera who is reading for his PhD at Kent State University, USA was introduced to the market on 29th October of 2019 at the senate room of the University of Kelaniya.
Senior Lecturer Dr. U.P. Liyanage was appointed as the new Head of the Department of Statistics & Computer Science, Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya. The appointment letter was handed over to the Head by the Vice- Chancellor, Prof. D.M. Semasinghe on the 04th of November 2019 at the Vice- Chancellor’s Office.
A stakeholder workshop for the revision of the curriculum of BSc in Environmental Conservation and Management, BSc (honours) in Environmental Conservation and Management and BSc (honours) in Zoology degree programmes was held on the 04th of September 2019 at Hotel Clarion, Kiribathgoda.
