A workshop on ‘Examination Paper Setting and Evaluation for the Junior Academic Staff’, was held on the 06th of October 2022, at the Social Sciences Faculty Boardroom of the University of Kelaniya.

It was organized by the Quality Assurance Unit of the Faculty of Social Sciences. The workshop was for the probationary, confirmed and unconfirmed lecturers of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the university. The purpose of conducting the workshop was to enhance the examination paper setting and evaluation skills of the Junior Academic Staff. 

The resource persons of the workshop were Senior Prof. K. Karunathilake, Cadre Chair – Department of Sociology, Prof. Lal Mervin Dharmasiri, Cadre Chair – Department of Geography, Prof. W. M. Semasinghe, Department of Economics and Prof. A. G. Amarasinghe, Head – Department of Geography. Prof. M. M. Gunatilake, Dean – Faculty of Social Sciences, probationary, confirmed, and unconfirmed lecturers at the faculty participated in the event.
