A lecture and a discussion on ‘The University Undergraduate, Student Movement, and Ragging’ were held at 2.00 pm on the 01^st of November at the auditorium of the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Kelaniya.

The event was organized by the Students’ Union of the Department of Political Science, University of Kelaniya, with the objective of building a discussion about Ragging among undergraduates. 

The chief guest of the event was Prof. Nirmal Ranjith Dewasiri from the Department of History, of the University of Colombo. Senior Lecturer Yamuna Mendis, Head of the Department of Political Science, of the University of Kelaniya, other members of the academic staff, and undergraduates participated in this event.
