The opening of the BOC CRM Machine, organized by the Bank of Ceylon, was held on 01^st of October 2024, at the University of Kelaniya premises.

The event was honoured by the participation of Senior Professor Nilanthi de Silva, Vice-chancellor of the University of Kelaniya, and Mr. Sudath Liyanage, Assistant General Manager of the Bank of Ceylon, as the Chief Guests. Additionally, Ms. Gayani Ranasinha, Branch Manager of the Bank of Ceylon, Dalugama; Mr. Manoj Priyankara, Operation Manager, Western Province North; and Mr. Manoj Hewathirana, Senior Area Manager, Kelaniya, graced the event as Honourable Guests.

Present at the event were Professor Sudath Kalingamudali, Dean of the Faculty of Science; Professor W. M. C. B. Wanninayake, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management; Dr. Sudath Senarath, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities; Mr. K. K. K. Dharmathilaka, Registrar of the University of Kelaniya; Ms. U. T. M. I. D. Tennakoon, Bursar; administrative and non-academic staff of the University of Kelaniya; and the staff of the Bank of Ceylon.
