Professor Ana Lúcia Rebocho Lopes Pinto e Sintra of the Department

of Genetics and Biotechnology, School of Life & Environment Sciences Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro called upon the Vice Chancellor Professor D. M. Semasinghe on the 07^th August 2019 at the Vice Chancellor’s Office during her recent visit to Sri Lanka. Prof. Sintra first visited the University of Kelaniya in September 2018 on an Erasmus+ Merging Voices Project Academic Staff Mobility Grant at the Department of Plant and Molecular Biology.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Sagarika Kannangara, Head- Department of Plant and Molecular Biology, Prof. Neelakshi C. Premawardhena, Director- International Affairs and Ms. Sashini Chandrasekara, Coordinator for International Cooperation.

The visit was coordinated by the Centre for International Affairs.
