Senior Professor Lal Mervin Dharmasiri, and Head of the Department of Geography of the University of Kelaniya, received a Distinguished Alumni award which is offered to prestigious academicians, from the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).
Professor Tetsuya Sagawa from Kanazawa University, Japan and Professor Takahiro Nakano from Chukyo University, Japan visited the Department of Sport Science and Physical Education of the Faculty of Social Sciences on the 22nd of March at 8.30 am.
Two delegates from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Regional Office in New Delhi, India Dr. Katja Lasch (Regional Director) and Mr. Apoorv Mahendru (Deputy Director), called upon Senior Professor Nilanthi de Silva, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya on the 14th of March 2023 at the Office of the Vice-Chancellor.

An Erasmus+ Staff Mobility program was held at the University of Kelaniya on the 13th of March 2023 with a three-member delegation from the School of Humanities, University of Tallinn, Estonia.
