The 139th General Convocation of the University of Kelaniya was held ceremoniously on the 21st of November 2023 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), Colombo.
Another Session of presenting Senate Awards and Cash Prizes to appreciate the researchers at the University of Kelaniya was held on the 26th of October 2023 at the Senate Room of the university.
In a significant move to boost academic research and collaboration among scholars, the University of Kelaniya, in partnership with the National Science Foundation and the National Research Council, has initiated the dialogue of the Sri Lanka Citation Index (SLCI) on 25th of October 2023 at Vice Chancellors Office, University of Kelaniya.
