On the 11th of January 2023, arrangements were made to proudly inaugurate the "Information Lounge for Emeritus Professors".
The Main Library of the University of Kelaniya recently established a bookshop within the library premises that displays and sells books and other publications written by the academic staff members (including the retired academics) of the University.
The University of Kelaniya library celebrated World Braille Day on the 11th of January 2023, with an exhibition organized by the Main Library.
The Inter-University Wrestling Championship (IUWRC) 2022 organized by the University of Kelaniya was held on the 18th of December 2022 at the Gymnasium of the University.
