An event was organized to initiate the formation of the Gender Equity & Equality Society (GEES) of the Non-Academic Staff of the University of Kelaniya, at the Auditorium of the Staff Development Centre on the 08th of June 2020.
The Certificate Course in Office Administration conducted by the Staff Development Center (SDC) of the University of Kelaniya was completed successfully and the Certificate Award Ceremony of this course was held at the Auditorium of the SDC on the 08th of June 2022.
A ceremony was held to symbolize the educational scholarships presented for the first-year undergraduates by the Koliya Bandara Education Institute at the Senate Room of the University of Kelaniya on the 24th of May 2021.

The main foundation for the H2O project organized by the students of the Leo Club of the University of Kelaniya was the sub-targets 6.1 and 6.3 under the Sustainable Development Goal No.6 which belongs to the ocean water and energy conservation category.
