Another Session of presenting Senate Awards and Cash Prizes to appreciate the researchers at the University of Kelaniya was held on the 24th of August 2023 at the Senate Room of the university.

A valuable donation of 50 beds (25 bunk beds) of IMBS Green Campus, to the University of Kelaniya's newly established hostel facility took place on the 21st of August 2023, at the office of the Vice-Chancellor.
