The inauguration ceremony of Master of Business Programme (MBus) & Master of Professional Accounting Programme (MPA) offered by the Department of Accountancy, Faculty of Commerce & Management Studies, University of Kelaniya was held on the 18 th of July 2020 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Commerce & Management Studies.
The book “Upadeshana Sanwada” authored by Senior Lecturer Tharindu DananjayaWeerasinghe, Department of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce andManagement Studies, University of Kelaniya was being published.This is really important for anyone who is interested in counselling. The book starts with theBuddhist philosophical approach to counselling. Secondly, an introduction is given to commonmental illness that a counsellor should know. The third section is allotted to conversation. Thesignificance of this book is that the writer does not directly narrates the story, rather he brings outonly the conversation behind. The readers are expected to adjust the message conveyed, to matchwith their lives.
Senior Lecturer Dr. P.N.D. Fernando was reappointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce & Management Studies. The appointment letter was handed over to the Dean by the Cadre Chair & Senior Prof. P.S. Wijesinghe, acting Vice- Chancellor on 09th of June 2020 at Dharmaloka Hall.
