New Head to the Department of Human Resource Management :Senior Lecturer M.P.N. Janadari was appointed as the new Head of the Department of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management studies, University of Kelaniya. The appointment letter was handed over to the Head by the Vice- Chancellor, Prof. D.M. Semasinghe on the 01st of March 2019 at the Vice- Chancellor’s Office.
The 4th Management Internship Certificates Awarding Ceremony, ‘HRM Professional Fiesta’ for final year students organized by the Department of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya was held on the 01st of February 2019 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya.
The staff members of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya donated food and other necessities to the patients at the Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama on the 31st of December 2018.
This donation which was organized by the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies under the assistance of the whole University, was a relieving experience for the patients at the hospital.
4th International Conference for Accounting Researchers and Educators- ICARE 2018 organized by the Department of Accountancy of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya was held on the 30th of November 2018 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies.
The conference which was held under the theme of “Digital Disruption to Digital Readiness: The Future of Accountancy Profession”, provides a platform to both academia and practitioners to share their knowledge and experience to broaden the horizons of accounting discipline.
