Two Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) were signed between the Department of Finance, University of Kelaniya, CFA Society Sri Lanka (CFASL), and the Acuity Knowledge Partners (Pvt) Ltd (ACUITY) on the 31st of August 2022 at the Senate Room of the University of Kelaniya.

The inauguration ceremony of the 07th intake of the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) was held on the 29th of July 2022 at Water’s Edge Hotel Battaramulla.
Master of Business Administration program of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies (FCMS) of the University of Kelaniya, organized an Executive forum to open a dialogue on the way forward in responding to the current economic crisis in Sri Lanka and it was organized under the theme of “From hindsight to foresight: The way forward for inclusive development of Sri Lanka”. The event was held on the 2nd of July 2022 at Sheraton, Turtle beach hotel, Kosgoda.
Another Session of presenting Senate Awards and Cash Prizes to appreciate the researchers in the University of Kelaniya was held on the 23rd of June 2022 at the Senate Room of the university.
