The Aerobics Gymnastics team of the University of Kelaniya achieved an impressive second place in the mixed category under the Gold Category, at the Gym for Life Challenge Tournament – 2024. The event was held on the 15th of July 2024, at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium.
The University of Kelaniya Wushu Team achieved a historic milestone by participating in its inaugural National Championship. Two outstanding performers, K. R. Keshalika and B. L. I. Anuththara, showcased their talents at the 18th National Wushu Championships 2024.
An awareness program organized by the Department of Physical Education of the University of Kelaniya was recently held on the 17th of January 2024 at Sri Dharmaloka Hall.
The men’s Volleyball team and the women’s Volleyball team of the University of Kelaniya won 3rd place in the consolation finals by defeating the Universities of Jaffna and Ruhuna respectively by 3-0 at the Sri Lanka University Games 2023.
