An awareness program organized by the Department of Physical Education of the University of Kelaniya was recently held on the 17th of January 2024 at Sri Dharmaloka Hall.
The men’s Volleyball team and the women’s Volleyball team of the University of Kelaniya won 3rd place in the consolation finals by defeating the Universities of Jaffna and Ruhuna respectively by 3-0 at the Sri Lanka University Games 2023.
The men’s Hockey Team of the University of Kelaniya won 1st Runner-up at the Sri Lanka University Games 2023 held on the 25th – 28th of August 2023 at the University of Peradeniya.
Representing the university and showcasing the above exceptional records, demonstrates the athleticism, and determination of the men’s Hockey team, and their achievement highlights the institution's commitment to sporting excellence.
