A Home Care Centre attached to the University of Kelaniya was declared open by the Cadre Chair & Senior Prof. Nilanthi de Silva, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya on the 01ˢᵗ of October 2021.

Audiobook Collection Launched
An audiobook collection developed by the Interactive Media Unit (IMU) of the Library, University of Kelaniya has been launched at the Senate Room of the university.
University of Kelaniya donated Rs. 5.5 Million to Base Hospital, Kiribathgoda. Renovating the hospital's Covid Care Unit and providing the latest medical equipment are the objectives of this project.
