A valuable personal book collection of Professor Indra Dassanayaka, late Professor of the Department of Hindi, University of Kelaniya was donated to the Main Library, University of Kelaniya, on 13th March 2023.

University of Kelaniya signs an MoU with the Institute of Ocean Resources Analysis Limited to support conservation of oceans and marine resources
With a view of laying a foundation for a digitalized “Blue Economy” for future generations, the University of Kelaniya and the Institute of Ocean Resources Analysis (Guarantee) Limited signed a MoU on 10th April 2023 at the University of Kelaniya.

The Library of the University of Kelaniya celebrated the 60th Anniversary of the University
The opening ceremony of the Library Museum and the Art Gallery of the University of Kelaniya in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the university was held on the 30th of March 2023 from 2.30 pm onwards at the Main Library premises of the university.
