Prof. Nilanthi Renuka de Silva, MBBS (Colombo), MSc (London), MD (Colombo), has been re-appointed as Vice Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya for a second three-year term, with effect from 24th of August 2023.
Another Session of presenting Senate Awards and Cash Prizes to appreciate the researchers at the University of Kelaniya was held on the 26th of July 2023 at the Senate Room of the university.
Professor Barbara Pisker of the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development, J. J. Strossmayer University of Osijek, Pozega, Croatia was on a visit to the University of Kelaniya on Erasmus+ Staff Teaching Mobility program from 22nd to 28th July 2023.
An MoU was signed between the University of Kelaniya and the Sri Siddhartha Palm Leaf Manuscript Study and Research Institute (SSPLMSRT) on the 18th of July 2023 at the Vice Chancellor’s Office of the University of Kelaniya.
