The Department of Sanskrit and Eastern Studies at the University of Kelaniya successfully hosted the inaugural exhibition dedicated to Vāstuśāstra in Sri Lanka on August 11 and 12, 2025, at the university premises. This significant event was organized in collaboration with the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre and the High Commission of India, aiming to showcase the research and designs of Honours undergraduates specializing in Vāstuśāstra.
The inaugural ceremony of the Diploma in Yoga Philosophy, organized by the Department of Sanskrit and Eastern Studies, University of Kelaniya, was successfully held on August 2, 2025. The event unfolded in the vibrant setting of the Social Sciences Auditorium, which was filled with eager participants and attendees.
The Faculty of Humanities at the University of Kelaniya held its inaugural Dean’s List Awarding Ceremony on 25th July 2025 at the Sri Dharmaloka Hall, celebrating the academic excellence of students who demonstrated outstanding performance during the academic years 2020/2021 and 2021/2022.
