The inaugural lecture of the “Pariyesanā” academic lecture series, organized by the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies of the University of Kelaniya, was held on the 22nd of October 2024 at the K14 Auditorium, Faculty of Humanities.
In an outstanding accomplishment, four students from the Department of Modern Languages, University of Kelaniya, specialising in Japanese, have been awarded the prestigious MEXT (Monbukagakusho) Scholarship for 2024. This full scholarship, offered by the Japanese government, is highly competitive and allows students to study in Japan for a year.
