An inspiring Japanese calligraphy workshop, organized by the Japanese Unit of the Department of Modern Languages, University of Kelaniya, under the theme “A Journey into the Art of Brush and Ink,” was held on the 27th of August 2024, at the university premises.

A cultural exchange program to unite Japanese and Sri Lankan students, organized by the UNSDGs Human Resources Development Organization in collaboration with the University of Kelaniya, was held from the 6th of August to the 14th of August 2024. In relation to this program, a special session was held on the 8th of August 2024, at the Board Room of the Faculty of Humanities (K14-001), University of Kelaniya.
The Inauguration Ceremony of the Diploma in Buddhist Studies for International Students was held by the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies of the University of Kelaniya on the 1st of August 2024, at the K14 Auditorium of the University of Kelaniya.
