Associate Prof. Kazutaka Shimizu from the Department of Cinema, College of Arts at Nihon University recently visited Department of Drama & Theatre and Image Arts, Faculty of Humanities, University of Kelaniya on 29th of January, 2020 and conducted a workshop about curriculum development.
“Rasi:li: Sandhya:” ; an evening of Hindi songs organized by the Hindi Parishad of the Department of Hindi Studies was held on 09th of January 2020 at Sri Dharmaloka Hall.
The intention of the event was to appraise a collection of celebrated Hindi movie songs. Meanwhile, Champa Kalhari and Mahesha Sandamali joined the students of the Hindi Parishad as voice artists. Orchestra was played by Milinda Tennakone and students.
The Academic book of Emeritus Senior Prof. Sumanapala Galmangoda was launched on 14th of January, 2020 at K-14 - conference room. Emeritus Senior Prof. Oliver Abenayake graced the event as the chief guest.
