The certificate awarding ceremony of the Diploma Courses of the Department of Pali & Buddhist Studies, Faculty of Humanities, University of Kelaniya was held on the 10th of July 2019 at Dharmaloka hall.
Professor Niroshini Gunasekera of the French Unit of the Department of Modern Languages, Faculty of Humanities, University of Kelaniya was recently awarded a knighthood by the French Government for the services rendered to France by teaching French language, culture, literature.
