The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and four Sri Lankan universities signed projects agreements totaling $145 million under the ADB funded Science and Technology Human Resources Development project to foster science and technology in Sri Lanka’s higher education on the 14th of February 2019 at the ADB Sri Lanka Resident Mission Office in Colombo.

The second of the series of ten seminars on research organized by the Research Council, University of Kelaniya was held on the 14th of February 2019 at the Auditorium of the Staff Development Centre. The event was organized with the objective of promoting research in the University of Kelaniya. The resource persons of the seminar were Prof. Ajith De Alwis, PhD - Director of COSTI, Prof. N P Sunil-Chandra, PhD and the Librarian, C C Jayasundara, PhD.
