Opening ceremony of “Ayati”; 01st National Centre for children with disabilities was held on 25th of January, 2020 at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya. It was opened by HE President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.
Prof. Channa D. Ranasinha was appointed as the New Head of the Department of Pharmacology of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya.
Senior Lecturer Dr. E.D.P.S. Fernando was appointed as the New Head of the Department of Anatomy of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya.
The official launch of the Centre for NCD Epidemiology organized by the Department of Public Health of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya was held on the 19th of September 2019 at the Hotel Cinnamon Lakeside.
