The Alumni Association of the University of Kelaniya has once again shown its strong commitment to uplifting student sports by contributing towards the sports nutrition programme for student-athletes preparing for the Sri Lanka University Games (SLUG) 2025 hosted by the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka.

The Spell 2025, Inter-University Invitational Scrabble Tournament, organized by the University of Kelaniya Scrabble Team  for the 7th consecutive time, was successfully held on June 29, 2025, at the Faculty of Computing and Technology premises, under the guidance of the Department of Physical Education, University of Kelaniya.

The University of Kelaniya Women’s Badminton Team emerged Champions in the University Women’s Category at the BattleField 2025 – Peradeniya Badminton Challenge, organized by the Pera Students' Badminton Society of the University of Peradeniya. The tournament was held on 28th & 29th June 20205 at the University of Peradeniya.
