Ms. Savindi de Silva, a first-year undergraduate from the Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya, following a BSc Honours in Applied Chemistry, secured the 2nd Runner-up position in the Women’s Singles event and 4th place in the Mixed Double event, at the 55th National Carrom Championship 2025, organized by the Carrom Federation of Sri Lanka. The event was held on the 1st of March 2025, at the SL Carrom Federation Headquarters. Her double partner was Mr. Gihan Chamara Dissanayaka, Carrom Coach of the University of Kelaniya.

A.  Methmi Rasara Wijesuriya of the University of Kelaniya, set a new National Record in the Women's 10,000m event, cloaking 33:39:60 seconds at the First National Selection Trials, organized by the Sri Lanka Athletic Association, which was held on the 8^th and 9^th of February 2025 at Diyagama Stadium.
