“Kalana Suyaamaya” Musical Programme organized by the Arts Council, University of Kelaniya was held on 06th November 2019 at Sri Dharmaloka Hall. This musical programme has been organized concurrently to the 60th anniversary of the university in order to develop the aesthetic values of the university community.
The opening of the Bodiprakaraya with the golden fence and Patimaagaraya for the Bodhi tree at Kelaniya University premises which was built on charity funds was unveiled by Prof. D.M Semasinghe, Vice-Chancellor, University of Kelaniya on 01st of November on the commemorating 144 year celebrations of the Vidyalankara Pirivena.
The 50th felicitation ceremony of C.W.W.Kannangara organized by the National E-learning Resource Centre in collaboration with the Presidential Secretariat was held on 16th October 2019 at the BMICH.
University of Kelaniya won bronze medal at the UWU Robot Battles 2K19, the third consecutive robot battle competition held on 20th of October 2019 at Trace Expert City, Maradana organized by Department of Science and Technology, Uva Wellassa University collaboration with the American Center’s Makerspace programme annual engineering exhibition, MakerFair 2019.
