A delegation from the Ministry of City Planning, Water Supply and Higher Education to monitor the progress of the international students at University of Kelaniya under the Government of Sri Lanka Presidential Scholarship for Foreign Students took place on 21st of November, 2019. A meeting with the scholarship grantees was held at the Centre for International Affairs.
A press conference organized by the Communication & Media Unit on education exhibition, which was planned to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the University of Kelaniya, was held on the 21st November 2019 at the Senate Assembly Hall.

The Inauguration Ceremony of “Kalana 2019” Performance, Media Art and Literature Awards Ceremony organized for the third time by the Art Council, University of Kelaniya was held on the 11th of November 2019 at the Art Gallery of the university.
Concurrently to the 60th Anniversary of the University of Kelaniya, the Research Relations Symposium 2019 organized by the Research Council of the University of Kelaniya, was held on the 07th of November 2019 at the boardroom of the Faculty of Humanities.
