Another session of presenting Senate Awards and Cash Prizes to appreciate the researchers in the University of Kelaniya was held on the 22nd of May 2019 at the Senate Room of the university.

Lecture on Deep Learning by IEEE
An IEEE distinguished lecture on Deep Learning jointly organized by the IEEE Student Branch, University of Kelaniya and the IEEE Sri Lanka Section was held on the 09th of May 2019 at the Faculty of Computing and Technology, Peliyagoda.
Recommencement of academic activities of UoK
Academic activities for the undergraduates of all the Faculties of University of Kelaniya will commence on the 28th of May, 2019. Resident students will be able to report to the hostels from the 27th of May onwards.
The weekend Fee Levying Courses will be commencing on the 25th and 26th of May, 2019.
