Recommencement of academic activities of UoK
Academic activities for the undergraduates of all the Faculties of University of Kelaniya will commence on the 28th of May, 2019. Resident students will be able to report to the hostels from the 27th of May onwards.
The weekend Fee Levying Courses will be commencing on the 25th and 26th of May, 2019.

Another Session of Senate Awards
Another session of presenting Senate Awards and Cash Prizes to appreciate the researchers in the University of Kelaniya was held on the 03rd of May 2019 at the Senate Room of the university.
In accordance with the MOU signed between the Department of Archaeology, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka and School of History and Culture, Sichuan University, China in 2016 and 2017, a series of discussions were held with regard to archaeological research pertaining to China - Sri Lanka historical relations.
