A delegation from Chongqing Normal University, China, visited the University of Kelaniya on May 26, 2025. The delegation gathered in the University Senate Room to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the University of Kelaniya and Chongqing Normal University.
World Thalassemia Day, observed on May 8th each year, is dedicated to honoring individuals living with thalassemia and remembering those who have lost their lives to the disease. In line with this, the Staff Thalassemia Care Center of the University of Kelaniya organized a commemorative event on May 25, 2025.
The Career Guidance Unit (CGU) of the University of Kelaniya organized a workshop on “Personal Grooming & Etiquette” for undergraduate students from all faculties. The event was held on May 21, 2025, at the CGU Auditorium.
A Book Donation Programme, organized and coordinated by the Communication and Media Unit of the University of Kelaniya under the guidance of Senior Lecturer Saman Rajapaksha, Director of the Communication and Media Unit, was held on the 19th of May 2025 at the Senate Room of the University.
